This pathway is open to a physician with recognized training and certification outside Canada. If you received your family medicine education in Australia, Ireland, the United Kingdom or the United States, you can apply to become a member of the CFPC. Provincial regulators will use this to issue you a license to practice. You will need to have completed sufficient postgraduate training in family medicine/general practice.
