What is a newcomer navigator? |
A newcomer navigator is a key member of a multidisciplinary care team within an organization. Depending on what services provided, individual training and background may vary. Some navigators may have clinical licenses, like nurses and social workers, while others may be non-clinical professionals. |
What kinds of work does a newcomer navigator do? |
Navigators help people manage their experience with an organization. They connect disparate areas in a health-care system and are important contacts for community partners and other stakeholders. |

No, both our live and on-demand webinars are 100% free. |
Will I receive a certificate after attending a webinar? |
Yes, you will receive a certificate for each webinar you attend, live or on-demand. |

Sign Up
I want to become a member, but I don't have an organization email. What should I do? |
To become a member, you should apply with a valid email address that has been supplied by your organization. But if you do not have a corporate email address, you can apply with a non-corporate one as well. Site administrators will review your application and follow up accordingly. |
I did not receive the verification email. What should I do? |
If you didn't receive the verification email when you signed up, please follow the troubleshooting steps below.

Step 2: Reset your password and resend another verification code If you couldn't find the N4 email inside your spam folder (or if the link inside the email message is expired), go to members.newcomernavigation.ca/login and execute steps 1-4 below.
Step 3: Contact us If you cannot sign in and access your user profile page after executing the steps above, please contact us (select Sign In / Sign Up on the Subject field and enter the email address you used to create your account). |

When you sign up to become an N4 member, we will send a message to the email address you informed in the sign up form. The message contains a verification link that you need to click on to create your user profile.
