Rama Musharbash-Kovacsi is the Windsor-Essex Catholic District School Board Community Ambassador, where she works with all newcomer families in their schools and helps guide them through the educational system in Ontario, bridging barriers, connecting newcomers to the community and coordinating outreach opportunities within the school community. She is also the co-founder of the LaSalle Hangout for Youth which is a Canadian Register Charity supporting at-risk youth in LaSalle. Rama holds bachelor's degrees in Exercise Science and Education and a master’s in Human Kinetics. She is an immigrant herself and knows firsthand what it is like to live that experience, and is always looking for ways to better the experience of the newcomers and help them become a contributing member in their new communities.
