Dr. Michaël Séguin is an assistant professor at the Providence School of Transformative Leadership and Spirituality at Saint Paul University, Ottawa. A sociologist of ethnic relations by training, he specializes in the development of policies and practices to foster Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in community-based organizations (including settlement agencies) and higher education institutions. His teaching and research have led him to explore power dynamics in organizations, ways to raise awareness of differences, and inclusive leadership.

His current SSHRC-funded research focuses on the inclusion/exclusion of immigrant frontline workers in Ontario settlement agencies. He has the privilege of conducting this research in partnership with N4. His postdoctoral research addressed the challenges Muslim managers, as members of a racialized minority, are facing in their career progression in Québec. His doctoral research analyzed the cognitive dimension of Israeli settler colonialism and the representation of the Palestinians it fosters.
