MentorshipAIMGA: Mentorship program | Alberta This program provides support and guidance to IMGs who are in the process of pursuing their medical career in Canada. The program aims to help mentees navigate the complex Canadian healthcare system, understand the requirements and regulations for practicing medicine in the province, and develop the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed individually.
This program offers one-to-one career coaching, individualized action plan development, support to pass language assessments, occupationally focused workshops, and ongoing follow-up to internationally trained health professionals.

PEGASUS IEHPs Mentorship Program | National This program offers guidance, flexible mentoring formats, and comprehensive resources to support IEHP's as they integrate into the Canadian healthcare system. They offer one-on-one mentorship, webinars, and an online community.
YWCA Health Connect | British Columbia, Ontario This employment program supports newcomer self-identified women pursue their healthcare credentials in Canada. They offer individual and group-based mentorship and coaching.
OrientationNova Scotia Health: Orientation to the Canadian Health Care System | Nova Scotia This 8 week, online, self-paced, orientation is designed to provide an overview of the Canadian health care system for IEHP's. It introduces concepts, issues, and practices that are relevant for health care providers in Canada.

MentorshipAIMGA: Observerships | Alberta The Observership Program is open throughout the year and accommodates IMGs who qualify for program participation. The observerships are an important step to the residency application process as they offer an excellent opportunity for IMGs to learn in the specific context of the Canadian healthcare system, to increase knowledge, to build professional networks, and to obtain feedback from licensed Alberta physicians and medical educators. OrientationWelcome Collaborative | Nova Scotia This 3-day orientation program supports physicians who have trained outside of Canada, have been issued a Defined license, and are new to practicing in Nova Scotia.

MentorshipCARE Centre's Mentorship Program | Ontario The program aims to increase the IEN’s understanding the role of the scope of practice of a nurse in a particular health care setting and better acquaint them with the language and culture of the Canadian workplace. This includes Virtual Mentoring and Observational Job Shadowing opportunities.
CASN IEN Mentorship Program | National CASN provides a 3-month mentorship program that includes workshops and simulations, designed for nurses who are new to Canada and have obtained licensure in a Canadian province. The program supports their integration into the workforce. OrientationContinuing Nursing Education Portal | National This portal, a component of a broader initiative facilitated by the Department of Health and Community Services to support the workplace and community integration of IENs, contains online courses to orient IENs to the Canadian healthcare system.
This program provides IENs from pre-hire, through orientation, to clinical integration, a continuum of clinical and communication supports.
This 18-week facilitated course introduces IENs to the foundations of nursing practice in Canada and the Canadian healthcare system. The course will help compare IENs experiences with Canadian health care delivery and nursing practice and identify any educational gaps or differences in knowledge, skills and competencies.
