We’re excited to host three webinars this month, with diverse guests from across Canada:
-
November 2: Navigating the IEN Process: The New Brunswick Model, with Robb Parker of the New Brunswick Department of Health – if you missed it, you can watch the recording.
-
November 16: Ethical and Legal Considerations of Consent and Privacy, with Dr. Michelle Mullen, Bioethicist, CHEO
- Space is limited for this participatory and interactive training.
-
November 30: The Role of Fairness Commissioners / Offices in Canada from an Ontario Perspective and Some Key Challenges to Fair Registration Practices, with Irwin Glasburg, Ontario's Fairness Commissioner
- Be sure to explore the Office of the Fairness Commissioner’s resources for Internationally Educated Health Professionals (IEHPs).
As with all N4 webinars, they’re free of charge, and it’s not too early to register.
Here are some other initiatives that N4 has been working on to support IEHPs:
-
We’ve launched pre-registration for the winter session of the N4/Saint Paul University Online Program, Fostering Canadian Integration for Internationally Educated Health Professionals (IEHPs): From Learning to Action. The program will be offered in French and English and is free of charge.
-
Our IEHPs Conversation Café is now live – join today! Are you an Internationally Trained Physician (ITP) or Internationally Educated Nurse (IEN)? Would you like to network with others who are working towards licensure in Canada? Could you assist N4 in developing tools and resources for professionals like you?
Wondering how you can stay in the loop what else N4 is working on, including our latest news and events?
