As part of our commitment to support Internationally Educated Health Professionals (IEHPs), the IEHP Resource Hub proudly offers the program "Fostering Canadian Integration for Internationally Educated Health Professionals (IEHPs): From Learning to Action." This innovative online program, launched in partnership with Saint-Paul University (SPU) in September 2022, has been instrumental in helping IEHPs understand the Canadian healthcare context, aiding their journey towards optimal employment.
The program includes a wide range of foundational content, with a strong focus on self-reflection and understanding the diverse cultural mosaic of Canada. Participants engage in personal development and reflective practice through peer mentoring, reflective learning journals, and discussion forums.
As we continue to expand and refine this program, our goal remains clear: to equip IEHPs with the tools and knowledge they need for successful integration and employment in Canada. We are excited to see the continued impact of the N4/SPU program and look forward to welcoming many more IEHPs in future cohorts.
