N4 has created a School Enrolment Advocacy Template Letter for Children in Temporary Housing
Access to affordable and appropriate housing is a current challenge for many Canadians. Families welcomed to Canada as refugees are often placed in hotel setting as they search for long-term, appropriate accommodations. This process can take months. Without a permanent address, newcomer children may be inappropriately denied school enrollment. N4 has created this template letter to advocate for families in your community who are facing barriers to school registration due to their temporary housing situation (ex. living in a hotel).
