Join a CoP working group!
The N4 Community of Practice (CoP) is made up of newcomer serving-professionals across Canada who work on projects designed to close gaps and address disparities for newcomers accessing and experiencing health and social services. The CoP recently conducted a survey to gather feedback on the most pressing issues for newcomers. Based on the results of the survey, N4 is launching 2 working groups:
Access to Interpretation Services: Advocacy for universal provincial coverage of interpretation in order to ensure equitable access and experiences with health and social services.
– N4 member: Apply to join this group
– Non-member: First, become an N4 member, then apply to join this group
Afghan Refugee Resettlement: Formation of a resource toolkit composed of existing curated materials to support Afghan Refugees accessing and experiencing health and social services.
– N4 member: Apply to join this group
– Non-member: First, become an N4 member, then apply to join this group
These two time-limited and action-oriented working groups will kick off in November. Have questions about the CoP? Contact Michelle Quinlan, Quality Improvement Specialist.
