Fostering Canadian Integration for IEHPs: From Learning to Action
September - December 2023
This 12-week program is designed to accompany and support IEHPs with the challenges of finding their place in Canada. It is based on an integrated development model that focuses on knowledge, skills and identity-making. The program's content will allow you to develop non-clinical skills and knowledge to support your successful integration in Canada while forming a learning community through exercises of personal development and reflective practice (circle of support, reflective learning journals, discussion forums). It is training that welcomes you and helps you leverage your expertise in a new cultural context.

2022-23 Annual Report
April 2022 ushered in an exciting new chapter for N4.
Our mandate to promote practices that enhance newcomer equity in accessing and experiencing health and social services was expanded to also examine equity for newcomers who provide those services, specifically internationally trained physicians (ITPs) and internationally trained nurses (IENs). We are pleased to provide our annual report for 2022-2023.

What Members Say About N4
"I am glad I was selected for this course, not only was it an eye opener on the wide difference in patient care, I come from a paternalistic kind of doctor patient relationship. I was able to learn the art of communication in an health care setting both doctor patient and doctor colleague interactions."
