What is OSLT?
Occupation-specific Language Training (OSLT) is FREE for newcomers to Ontario.
- OSLT courses focus on the communication skills, such as, soft skills and specific occupational language which is required when sharing information; communicating with various technology; managing interactions with colleagues, supervisors and clients.
- The courses also improve your confidence when introducing yourself in work-related situations; networking and while undertaking employment and in work-related interviews.
- OSLT courses provide access to a computer lab and can be delivered face-to-face, or blended (half online and half in-class). Courses generally run in the evenings so you can work during the day.
