This toolkit was compiled by an N4’s Community of Practice Working Group to support professionals from healthcare, settlement, education and other public-serving sectors in providing equitable access and services to Afghan newcomers. The Working Group sought to pull together high-quality existing resources into a single source. We encourage you to share the toolkit with your colleagues.

CP 24: Ontario to increase the number of medical school spots as part of push to train more doctors

Premier Doug Ford announced the addition of more than 450 new postsecondary positions across all six of Ontario's medical schools.
Ford was joined by Health Minister Christine Elliott and Minister of Colleges and Universities Jill Dunlop in Brampton for the announcement.
The new seats will be broken down into 160 undergraduate seats and 295 postgraduate seats.
